Mission of the Month
Each month, we focus on a specific missionary organisation which we support through prayer and offerings given at our Communion services.
January : Teens in Crisis
Teens in Crisis is a local Christian based charity that seeks to practically demonstrate the Christian faith by relieving the need, hardship or distress of young people by providing education, advice, support and counselling services and providing recreational facilities and activities for young people.

February : Home Mission
Home Mission helps churches in strategic mission situations, that could not have otherwise afford a minister, to have one. It funds chaplains working in education and industry. It supports evangelists and missioners.

March : Smiles
The Smiles Foundation runs various projects in Romania, Armenia, Honduras and elsewhere with the aim to help people, especially children, to know they are loved and not forgotten whatever their circumstances. Their prayer is to share from the bounty God has blessed us with, with those in need of basic shelter, food and love.

April : Mission Aviation Fellowship
For over 50 years, MAF planes have been serving countless thousands of men, women and children, bringing medical care, emergency food, and Christian hope. Serving as the air-arm of the church.
Today worldwide, the MAF partnership operates over 150 aircraft from bases in 30 countries.

May : European Christian Mission
ECM's mission is to glorify God by the planting and developing of churches which evangelise and disciple the peoples of Europe.

June : Scripture Union
Scripture Union is a non-denominational, Christ-centred international movement working in partnership with individuals and churches across the world.
Their aim is to use the Bible to inspire children, young people and adults to know God.

July : Peace & Trust
Peace and Hope Trust is committed to social and economic development in Nicaragua, improving quality of life in many sectors such as health, education, land rights, social mobilization, spiritual growth, infrastructure and renewable energy. Peace and Hope Trust bases its work on Biblical principles.

August : Mission Support Fund (World Relief)
The Mission Support Fund is Gorsley Chapel's discretionary fund for supporting missions and individuals around the world.
September : OMF International
OMF's mission is to glorify God by the urgent evangelisation of East Asia's millions.

October : Baptist Missionary Society
BMS World Mission personnel and partner organisations work in over 30 countries worldwide, mostly in six major areas: church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health and media.

December : Tearfund
The purpose of Tearfund is to serve Jesus Christ by enabling those who share evangelical Christian beliefs to bring good news to the poor, proclaiming and demonstrating the gospel for the whole person through support of Christian relief and development.
